Order the right filter

How can I be sure that I am ordering the right filter?
We are often asked this question. Therefore, we would like to let you know through this blog what to look out for when ordering new filters for your MVHR-unit. There are many different filters available with different sizes and filter classes.
How do I know which MVHR unit I have?
If you know which MVHR-unit you have, this will make ordering the right filter a lot easier. Most units have the brand on the front of the unit. You can also often find the type number on the unit. If this is not the case, you may still have the manual of your MVHR-unit. In the manual you can also find the brand and type.
With this information, brand and type, you can easily search for the right type of filter on our website. At the top of our website you will find a heading Products. If you select this by clicking on it, a list of the brands of MVHR-units will appear on the left side of your screen. Clicking on the brand will take you to the different types. Again you can make a choice for the right type by clicking on it. You will now see the possibilities for your unit and you can order the desired filter and number.
What if I don't know which unit I have?
If you don't see on your unit which brand/type it is and you don't have a manual, we can still help you to order the right filters. In order to be able to advise you properly, it is best to remove the filters from your unit and take the measurements. You can contact us by phone or e-mail with this information. Also, a picture can help. With our experience in the field of MVHR-filters, we can indicate which filter it concerns.
Which filter class do I choose for the filters in my MVHR-unit?
Which filter class you choose depends partly on your unit and partly on your personal preference. For some MVHR-units there is no choice in filter class and you can only order the standard filter for this unit. This is often a coarse filter. This is also called an ISO Coarse filter. This filter filters dust particles such as sand and hair. For the units where filters in different filter classes are offered, the choice is up to you. Do you suffer from an allergy? Then, if this filter is available for your unit, you could opt for a pollen filter. For most types of units we supply a set that contains 1x a ISO coarse filter and 1x a pollen filter. The pollen filter is for filtering the incoming air (this air you want to have filtered best) and the other filter then goes into the outlet of your unit. See also our Blog: Replacing MVHR-filters.
